Great news for those of you who have been waiting to visit Cambodia, with its stunning temples, rich heritage, mouth-watering cuisines and thriving natural beauty. The country has relaxed its COVID restrictions, making it easier for international travelers to enter its borders.

Relaxed COVID Restrictions for International Travelers

With over 90% of Cambodia’s citizens now vaccinated, the country’s tourism is ready to thrive once again. To jump-start this process, these changes were made to the country’s previously stricter COVID guidelines:

• Testing is no longer required before flying into Cambodia
• Testing is no longer required upon arrival in Cambodia
• Quarantine is no longer required for travelers who have proof of vaccination (at least two doses)

For travelers who have not been vaccinated yet or have only been given a single dose, they are still allowed to enter the country as long as they follow the 14-day quarantine requirement.

Visa on Arrival Now Available

As part of Cambodia’s relaxing COVID restrictions, the government is once again offering Visa on Arrival for international travelers who will be staying in Cambodia for no more than 30 days. 

Visitors applying for a Visa on Arrival must carry a passport that’s valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country. Although this visa type is only valid for 30 days, it is possible to apply for an extension. 

As for travelers from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, a visa is not required for them to enter Cambodia for leisure. They will only be required to apply for a visa if they wish to stay in Cambodia longer than 30 days or if they have any other purpose other than leisure.
