Pet parents will agree that the hardest part about deciding to go on a vacation is having to leave their fur-babies behind. We should know, for we have pets, too (remember Bou Bou, our resident cat?). True enough, most hotels do not allow pets on their premises and are not pet-friendly hotels for several reasons. That is why travellers are left with no choice but to leave their pets at home. 

However, being an innovative and eco-friendly hotel, we acknowledge that families are not bound by blood. Thus, we are now opening its doors for your pets to enjoy their vacation, too. 

The Aviary Hotel has now become a pet-friendly hotel by welcoming furry friends to its premises. Yes, you read it right! We recognize that pets are considered part of our guests’ families, so you may now bring them with you. But like all others, there are just a few things you need to take into consideration if you are planning to do this. 

Requirements For Bringing Your Pets

While medical developments have been significantly advanced, prevention is always better than cure. Moreover, we want to ensure that the safety of all guests is given top priority. Therefore:

• Proper medical certification, specifying that all vaccinations are up to date, must be available upon request.
• We take special precautions to make sure that our rooms are free from any pest infestation. Please make sure that your pet is pest-free before arrival. 

Perks And Privileges For You And Your Pets

These are the perks that pet parents and pets alike can enjoy if they choose to spend their vacation with us.

• Pets, like dogs and cats, love walking around. They also need to do that to possess a healthier body. Thus, guests can walk their pets in all areas of the hotel grounds. Just be responsible for picking up after your pet in and around the hotel at all times.
• Pets may stay unattended in your room provided they are not destructive and are quiet. A continuously barking dog or meowing cat may be bothersome to our other guests and will not be tolerated.

Note: In some cases, pets may not be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a cage or pet carrier while you are gone.

Restrictions To Keep In Mind

Our pets may be lovely to us, but it may not be the case for everyone. Hence, below are a few restrictions that pet parents need to abide by.

• Pets are not allowed in the public areas of the hotel such as the food service areas. Let’s face it. Pets love scratching their bodies once in a while. And you wouldn’t like it when you can see furs floating around while you are having a meal, right? Worse, some people are allergic to pet dander, so it pretty makes sense we consider their situation, too.
• Housekeeping service – The pet must be removed from the room prior to housekeeping service, or other arrangements must be made with the hotel management.

• Pets must be on a controllable leash at all times when outside the guest room.
• Please make sure that your pet is not a threat to other guests (and pets).
• Please understand that not all guests love pets as much as we do.
• You will be held liable for any damage that may be caused by your pet.
• Pet owners are responsible for the feeding and watering of their pets.
