Blending two worlds in great design

Sirivan left Cambodia when she was 12 years old. Her eye for great design was always apparent. This is why she decided to study fashion design at Atelier Chardon-Savard in Paris. 

Now, some might say that Paris is a magical place. But Cambodia has a magic of its own, with the rich culture, fascinating temples and amazing people. These are definitely great reasons for Sirivan to go back to her roots after almost three decades and start sharing her craft with her fellow Cambodians.

Looking at Sirivan’s designs, the blend between French and Cambodian flavors can be easily seen. This makes her work tastefully unique.

She also loves playing with traditional Cambodian patterns, textures, colors and materials. This is expected, knowing that Cambodia is known for beautiful patterns and fabrics. 

But Sirivan’s designs are not overwhelming at all. In fact, she manages to balance creative expression and subtle inspiration, weaving together beautiful pieces that anyone can wear.

The workshop in Siem Reap is always bustling with activity. After all, Sirivan’s collection is not just her own work – it is also the result of the skills and hard work of her team.
