The Aviary Hotel Holds 5th Annual Staff Party

The Aviary Hotel has become a home away from home for the numerous visitors we’ve had right from the start. Although our facilities create an environment that’s conducive to fun and relaxation, the truth is, our staff is among the biggest reasons why people keep coming back.

That’s why we make it a point to regularly show our staff members appreciation for everything they do for the hotel and its guests. Last June 20, we held our annual staff party to do just that.


The First Post-Pandemic Staff Celebration

Held annually, the staff party has always been a much-awaited event here at The Aviary. However, the pandemic greatly changed the way we did things. Although we continued to honor our staff for a job well done, we had to pause these celebrations.

That makes our 5th staff party last month truly memorable. After jumping through every hurdle that the pandemic threw at us, we finally got the chance to get together and just celebrate our collective wins.

Mr. Joffrey Thin-Gris, our General Manager, kicked off the celebration with his opening remarks. He also announced the Star of the Year, Mr. Visan – F&B Service Staff, and mentioned the names of staff members who had birthdays within the month so that we can greet them as a group.

The Star of the Year was chosen from the pool of staff members named Star of the Month for the past year. These employees showed exemplary performance and went above and beyond the service and performance expected from them.

No party is fun without dancing, so Mr. Sorn Vibol led us in the traditional dance “Robam koh Tro loak” while Ms. Toun Sarren led a group that danced to some K-pop tunes. There were games and a raffle draw, with prizes from some of our partners.

The team enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and showed everyone that we’re not just colleagues, but a family.
